MUMBAI: Tensions flared in Ghatkopar as Mumbai Police intervened between the Gujarati community and Marathi-speaking residents over non-vegetarian food consumption. The unrest was sparked by allegations that Marathi families were mistreated by residents of an apartment complex for eating meat and fish, with a widely circulated video showing Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) members confronting Gujarati residents.
