NEW DELHI: As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, the BJP has unveiled its second list of 29 candidates, featuring notable figures such as former AAP MLA Kapil Mishra, who will contest from Karawal Nagar, and Harish Khurana, son of ex-chief minister Madan Lal Khurana. Karnail Singh is set to challenge former AAP minister Satyendar Jain in Shakur Basti, while Neelam Krishan Pahalwan, a successful BJP councillor, will run from Najafgarh. The party has dropped sitting MLA Mohan Singh Bisht to accommodate Mishra. The BJP has now nominated candidates for 58 of the 70 seats, including seven women. This follows the AAP's earlier announcement of candidates for all seats in December and the Congress's naming of 47 candidates. Voting is scheduled for February 5, with results to be declared on February 8.
