The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Election Commission (EC) of banning their Lok Sabha campaign song, 'Jail ke jawab mein hum vote denge', alleging that it portrays the ruling BJP and central investigation agencies in a negative light. Senior AAP leader Atishi expressed disappointment at the EC's decision, claiming that the song does not mention the BJP and does not violate the Model Code of Conduct. She criticized the EC for not taking action against poll code violations by the BJP, suggesting that democracy is in danger. The two-minute campaign song, penned and sung by AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, was released at the party headquarters in Delhi. The EC has not yet responded to the AAP's claim.
