A video of a man riding a motorcycle with a woman sitting on his lap in Bengaluru has gone viral, leading to the arrest of the accused by the Hebbal traffic police. The incident, which took place on May 17 on the Bangalore International Airport road, shows the duo without helmets. The Bengaluru Traffic Police shared the video, urging people to ride responsibly and not perform stunts on public roads. The video has garnered over 22,000 views and sparked a debate among social media users, with some calling for both individuals to be punished, not just the driver. Suggestions included canceling the man's driving license and putting him in jail, as well as imposing fines on both parties.

Rajan Singh, a resident of Khiriya Pamaran village in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested after a video went viral on social media showing him voting multiple times. The Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, Navdeep Rinwa, confirmed that an FIR has been registered in connection with the incident, and all members of the polling party involved will face disciplinary action. Three individuals have been sentenced to six months in prison for breaching food safety regulations in the production of Patanjali's Elaichi "soan papadi" in Pithoragarh. The Chief Judicial Magistrate imposed fines ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000 on the offenders, including a shopkeeper, an assistant manager of Patanjali's distributor, and an assistant general manager of the company. The court found them guilty under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 after samples of the product collected in 2019 failed to meet the required standards. The case was registered in 2021 following the test results from the National Laboratory in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. This incident highlights the importance of adhering to food safety regulations to ensure public health and well-being.
