JAIPUR: Following the arrest of Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Seema Malhotra, known as 'Madam Maya', Jaipur police apprehended her aide, Rajendra, alias 'Joker', at Bathinda jail in Punjab on Tuesday. Rajendra, already incarcerated for his involvement in the murder of Punjabi politician-singer Sidhu Moosewala, was allegedly plotting to extort money from two businessmen in Jaipur. While in custody, he reportedly used social media to gather intelligence on influential individuals, relaying this information to 'Madam Maya', who has been pivotal in the gang's operations for the past two years, coordinating logistics and legal support. The police are set to interrogate both suspects together. The Bishnoi gang, notorious for its involvement in high-profile murders, boasts around 700 shooters nationwide and is led by Lawrence Bishnoi, currently detained in Sabarmati jail, Gujarat.
