No Receipt for Gold, Rs 2 Crore Found: Ranya Rao Arrested

BENGALURU: Kannada actor Ranya Rao was apprehended at Kempegowda International Airport on March 4 while attempting to smuggle 14 kilograms of gold concealed on her person. Arriving from Dubai, she was stopped by Department of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials after failing to declare any dutiable goods. Upon examination, gold bars were discovered strapped to her body and hidden in her shoes.
