In a covert operation, the Indian Coast Guard intercepted a Pakistani boat smuggling drugs worth Rs 600 crore into India near Porbandar. The operation, carried out in collaboration with the Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), resulted in the apprehension of 86 kg of narcotics and the detention of 14 crew members from the Pakistani vessel. Despite attempts to evade capture, the vigilant Coast Guard ship Rajratan successfully identified and intercepted the drug-laden boat. The seized vessel and its crew are now being transported to Porbandar for further investigation. This joint effort highlights the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region. 
In a terrifying incident at a Noida housing complex, a lift experienced brake failure and shot through the roof of the top floor, injuring three occupants at the Paras Tierra Society in Sector 137. A woman was arrested at Delhi Airport for allegedly posing as a CISF official while wearing a CISF uniform. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official at the airport detained the woman, identified as Anjali Ojha, and handed her over to Delhi Police. A case has been registered under Section 171 at the IGI Airport Police Station. The woman initially claimed to be a CISF officer but later admitted to working at a private company named M/s Gratis Co. Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi. Her suspicious behavior and attempt to conceal information raised concerns during the interrogation. The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.

The Maldives Defence Minister, Ghassan Maumoon, has admitted that the country still lacks pilots capable of operating three aircraft donated by India, despite the recent withdrawal of 76 Indian military personnel. The Indian soldiers were stationed in the Maldives to operate two helicopters and a Dornier aircraft, but no Maldivian soldiers have completed the necessary training to fly these aircraft. The strained relations between the two countries escalated when Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu insisted on the withdrawal of all Indian military personnel by May 10. However, the Maldives government has no plans to remove Indian doctors from the Senahiya military hospital.
