Three individuals have been sentenced to six months in prison for breaching food safety regulations in the production of Patanjali's Elaichi "soan papadi" in Pithoragarh. The Chief Judicial Magistrate imposed fines ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000 on the offenders, including a shopkeeper, an assistant manager of Patanjali's distributor, and an assistant general manager of the company.
